How many new people did you meet on your last night out?
A city this big shouldn't be this hard to meet people in. We've been there. You arrive with your friends, you stand with your friends, you check your phone, you go home. Nobody meets anybody.
Now imagine leaving a night out with more friends than you arrived with. A new group chat, plans for next time, and a team you'd play with again.
So we built a night that does the introducing for you.
It started at uni, as games nights among friends. Then companies started asking for it, and we took the show on the road for companies like The Crown Estate, the NHS & many more, from corporate Christmas parties to members-only coworking events.
Different rooms, same thing every time: once people are on a team, they talk. Now we've opened the doors to everyone.
When did you last play?
Not scroll. Not watch. Play. If you had to think about it, it's been too long.
What do you reach for when a conversation dies?
Your phone. At Night of Play, you'll be too busy shouting answers with your team to notice it.
- We pick the teamsIf you choose, you play with the friends you came with. We mix the room on purpose, so you leave with new ones.
- We design for everyoneLondon is one of the most diverse cities in the world. Our games give everyone in the room the same chance of winning, whoever you are and wherever you're from.
- We make the crowd part of the gameIf you're in the room, you're in the game. Nobody spends the night watching from the side.
- 01You get a colour on the doorWe assign your team, so you end up playing with people you've never met.
- 02The whole room plays round oneEveryone's in the game from the start, then we cut to the players who go through.
- 03Games you already knowWe play games inspired by TV shows watched by hundreds of millions, so you know how to play before the first round starts.
- 04Then the afterpartyWe crown the winners, then the DJ takes over. Teammates and opponents end the night together as one.
- Can I come on my own?Yes. That's the point. We put you on a team at the door, so you won't be on your own for long.
- Do I have to go up on stage?Only if you want to. Everyone else plays from the crowd with their team.
- I'm not good at gamesYou don't need to be. Our games are inspired by TV shows you already know, and everyone has the same chance of winning.
- What's the vibe?Half games night, half night out. It ends with an afterparty and a DJ.
Come alone or bring the group chat. We'll put you on a team either way.
